Classes 

 

All classes begin with a relaxed drawing and paperwork session followed by an exploration of a different textile technique each week. The choice of technique will be informed by the individual and collective creative journeys of the group. 

 

This responsiveness in the learning space facilitates experimentation, exploration and expansion of everyone’s personal creative process.

 

Textile and mixed media techniques are explored through instruction and practise and include – Stitch, felt making, mono-printing, experimental dyeing techniques, shibori, nuno-felting, machine work and sculptural textiles among others.

 

We aim to create an informal, fun environment that provides the tools, techniques and support for participants to discover and develop their individual visual style.
